1. Introduction
EELI Technology, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") develops and operates the EELI Control System, an AI-optimized electrochemical process control platform for direct lithium extraction (DLE) operations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through eelitech.org (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to all interactions with the Service and to direct communications you initiate with us.
The Company is based at 222 S Main Street, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 and can be reached at [email protected].
Because the Company serves industrial mining and process-engineering operators, the majority of information we collect relates to professional context: brine chemistry project details, operational scale, and engineering roles. We do not collect consumer financial data, health data, or personal data from the general public in any volume.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
We collect information you submit directly, including:
- Contact details (name, email, phone) when you fill out a process audit request, request a demo, or subscribe to Insights updates;
- Company and project context you choose to share, such as your organization, your engineering role, the brine source type you process (continental salar, geothermal, produced water), and a description of your current DLE setup;
- The content of messages you send us via the contact form or email.
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, to route it to the appropriate member of our process engineering team, and to provide you with relevant technical information about the EELI Control System. We do not use brine project descriptions or process context for any purpose other than responding to your specific request.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit eelitech.org, we automatically collect limited technical information:
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level);
- Browser type, operating system, device class;
- Pages visited, referring URLs, time on page;
- Cookie and similar identifiers (see Section 5).
This data is used solely to operate the site, measure which Insights articles are useful to the DLE engineering community, and diagnose technical issues. We do not build behavioral profiles for advertising.
2.3 We Do Not Knowingly Collect Children's Data
eelitech.org is directed exclusively at industrial professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to process audit requests, demo inquiries, and technical questions;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service and the EELI Control System platform;
- Send Insights article updates and (with your consent where required) relevant technical communications about the EELI platform;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information for monetary value. Where applicable state law treats certain advertising arrangements as a "sale" or "share," see your state's section below.
4. Sharing of Information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf (including hosting infrastructure, transactional email delivery, and self-hosted analytics) under contractual confidentiality terms;
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property;
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information to third parties. Brine project descriptions and process details you share with us are treated as confidential professional communications and are not shared outside the Company.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and measure usage of our Insights articles. For details and choices, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described, to comply with legal or accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. Process audit inquiry records are retained for up to 36 months to support ongoing customer conversations typical of industrial B2B sales cycles. Inactive marketing-list contacts are purged after 24 months. Server access logs are retained 90 days, then aggregated.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, restricted-access databases, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your General Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, and the ability to limit certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Utah Residents
Utah does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute. As a matter of policy, the Company extends the following baseline rights to all U.S. residents regardless of state of residence.
